I am a Clinical Psychologist and Qualified Medical Evaluator, located in San Leandro, California. My post-doctoral training and subsequent professional practice has focused primarily on psychological/neuropsychological testing and assessment (although I also provide individual psychotherapy services). I have been working full time as a Clinical Psychologist since 2001, and have a wide range of experience in the area of psychological assessment – I have evaluated inmates for Municipal Court, conduct neuropsychological and psycho-educational assessments in both forensic and clinical settings, and regularly perform disability, risk assessment, and fitness for duty evaluations. I have evaluated individuals for dangerousness, competency, culpability, rehabilitation, and functional impairment, and have performed psychological evaluations of prospective adoptive parents, and of individuals involved in child custody disputes. I have evaluated individuals seeking employment as police officers, sheriff’s deputies and armed security guards, perform psychological evaluations of individuals involved in Immigration Court proceedings, and regularly assess students’ eligibility for academic accommodation and intervention services. As a QME, I conduct psychological evaluations within the context of disputed workers’ compensation claims, and have testified as an expert witness in Immigration Court, and at Special Education Hearings.
