Samantha Rogowicz
Dr. Samantha Rogowicz is a NYS licensed clinical psychologist at Gordon Therapy Group. Dr. Rogowicz received her doctorate in clinical psychology from St. John’s University, and graduated with honors from New York University. Dr. Rogowicz has extensive experience using evidence-based treatments for anxiety and mood disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology.
Dr. Rogowicz completed a two year post-doctoral fellowship at The Reeds Center, providing intensive treatment for OCD, body-focused repetitive behaviors,eating disorders, PTSD, and depression and gained additional expertise while there in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Dr. Rogowicz has also worked in a school based clinic and in a selective mutism treatment program for kids, and brings enthusiasm and dedication to her work with both families and children.
Dr. Rogowicz’s research exploring the influence of characteristics of child perpetrators of
aggression on teachers’ responses to physical and relational aggression has been published in
the Journal of Applied School Psychology. Her doctoral dissertation further examined relations
between environmental factors and temperament and aggression in childhood.
Dr. Rogowicz enjoys working with people across the life span and with a wide-range of challenges.
