Samuel Landsman
Through a supportive and empowering approach, I can help you understand yourself better, clarify your goals and directions, and lead a more fulfilling life. Together, we'll select the tools that can help you overcome the obstacles that stand in the way of achieving what you want, whether it's freeing yourself from debilitating anxiety, finding energy and joy in life, having more satisfying interpersonal relationships, or finding focus and clarity about who you are and what you want for yourself. For children, I'll also help with behavioral issues, ADHD, fears and phobias, and anxiety.
From my work with children through older adults, I have learned that people of all ages have an inborn capacity for growth and change. The techniques will vary, depending on the age, the client, and goals, but the principal remains: to find and utilize your drive toward growth and health.
I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from St. John's University, with additional training in Child and Adolescent Psychology. I interned at North Shore University Hospital and worked for many years at MercyFirst Child and Family Services. I have been in practice for 30 years.
