Dr. Sherman earned her bachelor’s in Psychology from New York University and master’s and doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Child & Adolescent Emphasis, from Adler University (Chicago). She was a doctoral clinical psychology resident at Advocate Childhood Trauma Treatment Program (Chicago) and completed postdoctoral training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles/USC University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities. Dr. Sherman has assessed and treated children with mental health problems ranging from mild to severe. Her graduate school and training sites are accredited by the American Psychological Association.
