Dr. Kahn received her BA from Wesleyan University where she majored in English and minored in Psychology. After pursuing a career in the fields of contemporary dance and photography, Dr. Kahn earned her Masters and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Adelphi University Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies where she was a commended first year student and a teaching assistant in her final year. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Kahn previously has held positions treating patients as a Psychologist at Manhattan Children's Psychiatric Center and as a Senior Psychologist at Bellevue Hospital in the Ryan White Family Mental Health outpatient program. Dr. Kahn has supervised graduate students and externs and interns in psychology as a Clinical Instructor of Psychiatry at New York University Medical School and as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty Member at Adelphi University Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies. She also served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at New York Institute of Technology in a graduate program in Human Nature.

Dr. Kahn has extensive experience treating children, adolescents, and adults for a multitude of issues and challenges. She adheres to a supportive, flexible approach which takes the needs and objectives of the client into consideration and values the collaboration between client and therapist.
