Tara Richardson
My name is Dr. Tara Richardson. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years of experience. I work with all age groups from young children to seniors and help my clients negotiate difficult life transitions such as school, work, and social challenges, separations/divorce, infertility, adoption, parenting, caring for elderly parents or children with special needs, and retirement. I also help clients and families experiencing serious physical or mental illness such as cancer or bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety. I have specialized training in Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy which primarily involves identifying and changing negative patterns of thinking and behaving in ways that prevent you from leading a fulfilling, happy life. I have experience using a variety of therapeutic methods, so our work together can be customized to meet your needs.
