Vincent Monastra
Dr. Vince Monastra is a clinical psychologist and director of the FPI Attention Disorders Clinic in Endicott, NY. During the past three decades, he has been active in clinical research and practice, participating in the care of over 15,000 children, teens, and adults with disorders of attention and behavioral/emotional control problems. His research has been published in numerous scientific papers, book chapters and books including: Parenting Children with ADHD: 10 Lessons that Medicine Cannot Teach (APA Books), Teaching Life Skills to Children and Teens with ADHD (APA Books) and Unlocking the Potential of Patients with ADHD: A Model for Clinical Practice (APA Books). His skills as a master diagnostician and therapist have been recognized and are archived in several educational videotapes programs, including Working with Children with ADHD (APA). His research examining the neurophysiological characteristics of children and teens with ADHD, as well as his treatment studies investigating the role of parenting style, school intervention, nutrition and neurotherapy in the overall care of patients with ADHD, is internationally recognized and led to several scientific awards. He continues to provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages who are seeking an integrative approach to treatment and offers consultations at his clinic in Endicott, NY as well as online.
