Dale Weissman
I specialize in work with children and families. I can help children with both school and home issues. I also work well with creative individuals, as well as young adults in transition. I frequently work with lawyers and academics. I work with many types of people and problems. My extensive education, experience and interests support my work. My knowledge of childhood development helps everyone, since we all have that child within us. I look forward to talking to you and discussing the possibilities of working together therapeutically. Your questions and concerns are welcome.
I employ play therapy with young children, as well as talk therapy. This allows the child to communicate in a comfortable way, yet on a deep level. I use behavioral techniques when appropriate. I work with children who excel in school and those who are challenged by various disabilities.
My love of the arts predisposes me to work well with creative individuals. For all folks, therapy is tailored to their individual needs. People report feeling comfortable with me, as well as feeling better through therapy. My office is located in Brooklyn Heights, one subway stop from Manhattan.
