Dominic Moceri
Dr. Moceri graduated from the University of Michigan (UM) with Bachelor of Arts (BA), Honors in Psychology in April 2005. He completed his Clinical Internship at The University of Florida in June 2015. He graduated from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey with his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology in October 2015. He began practicing clinical psychology full time in the State of Michigan as a limited licensed psychologist in June 2015 and as a fully licensed psychologist at the doctoral level in June 2017 (License # 6301016371).
Throughout his education, Dr. Moceri has received extensive training in the theory, application, and research of psychological science and psychotherapy. Dr. Moceri’s theoretical approach predominantly falls under the general Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) umbrella. However, his general practice also incorporates aspects of mindfulness and value-based psychotherapies. He has been heavily influenced by Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Logotherapy; but does not consider himself an expert on those three treatments.
