Margaret Maher
Dr. Maher is a licensed psychologist and certified dietician with 17 years of combined experience in private practice and medical settings. She is a behavior change expert, effectively helping motivate clients to make lasting changes to improve their mental and physical health. Her specialty areas include behavioral weight loss, eating disorders, medical illness, sports injury and rehabilitation, chronic pain, diabetes, tobacco and alcohol use, anxiety, depression, and self esteem. She works with older children, adolescents and adults. Given her multidisciplinary training, she offers a unique, tailored, highly specialized treatment plan for each client. Dr. Maher has trained at some of our nation’s most acclaimed centers for behavioral health psychology, including Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, Columbia University, University of Chicago, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
