Sheryl Silverstein
I specialize in child and adolescent psychotherapy, psychoanalysis and parent work. I see children of all ages, using play therapy with younger children. My approach is insight oriented , in depth psychotherapy. I have been in practice for 30 years and have had extensive clinical experience with children and adolescents in all settings: inpatient and outpatient. My practice also includes adult psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. I am comfortable working with all sorts of issues. Currently I am on the Clinical Faculty at Yale University supervising psychiatry residents on their long term psychotherapy cases. I am an advanced Candidate at the Wester New England Institute for Psychoanalysis, on both the adult and child tracks. From 2015-2016 I ran the Adolescent Day Hospital at Yale New Haven Hospital. If you are interested, please set up a consultation and we can talk about want you want from therapy and how I can help.
