Beth Westbrook
Dr. Westbrook has practiced for over 30 years. She began working in hospitals and clinics and giving community presentations. She currently works as a psychologist in private practice and consults to the Medical Society of Metropolitan Portland (Wellness Program) and the Health Professionals Service Program. She served as President of the Oregon Psychological Association, as the chair for the Advisory Committee on Colleague Assistance (APA) and as a Governor appointee to the Health Evidence Review Commission and Evidenced Based Subcommittee. In addition, she is trained in group work, crisis intervention and certified in child and adolescent psychotherapy (Washington School of Psychiatry, D.C.). Her practice currently focuses on work with health professionals and she gives talks to clinics, hospitals and community organizations. She enjoys volunteering for White Bird Dance, promoting dance and diversity in the Portland area.
