Cindy Huang
I work with parents and their children (young child through adolescence) to develop skills that promote child development and prevent mental health difficulties. My parenting interventions are particularly helpful if parents want to learn new parenting strategies and tools to help manage difficult child behaviors. I use evidence-based parenting interventions and behavioral approaches, which is goal-oriented and time limited. My particular area of interest is preventing social-emotional and behavioral problems for young children through the promotion of positive parenting behaviors.
My expertise includes evidence-based parenting interventions, and behavioral interventions for children and adolescents. I also offer psychological and cognitive assessments with children and adolescents. I have worked extensively with young children, school-aged children, adolescents, and their parents in both community and child welfare settings.
