Katherine Gibson
I am board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. I work with children, teens, young adults and their families using Cognitive-Behavioral and Behavioral approaches to help face life's challenges. I have a passion for providing evidence based treatment to families, and training clinicians to provide these treatments. I specialize in treating anxiety, OCD, selective mutism, trauma and behavior challenges. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I provide Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for children with behavior problems and their caregivers, and am certified by PCIT International as a PCIT therapist and Level 1 within program trainer. Parents are an integral part of treatment and are actively involved in the process.
