Marcia Stern
My broad range of experience allows me to offer individually tailored, effective treatment to a diverse group of clients in an attentive, warm, collaborative setting. I am a generalist with training in both psychodynamic and cogntive behavioral techniques. I have specific expertise in treating the impact of exposure to trauma. My background includes work with military veterans, sexual assault survivors, and with children and adults who have experienced loss or childhood abuse. I am currently employed as a Senior Psychologist at the Counseling & Psychological Services Center at Columbia Health, Columbia University and am an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
