About:

Marjorie BerkowitzI am a graduate of the George Washington University PsyD Program and completed concentrated periods of study in the area of eating disorder treatment, forensic psychology including childhood trauma and needs of court involved youngsters, complex needs of individuals needing inpatient level of care for brief periods (both child and adolescents as well as acute adult needs).

As former faculty of Harvard Medical School and a staff psychologist at The Massachusetts General Hospital's Think:Kids Program, I have accumulated almost a decade of experience helping children and families.

At Think:Kids I contributed to the development of a nationwide certification program and as one of the core psychologists on staff serving the Clinic, I provided evaluations of need, clinical consultation, parenting groups and family based therapy utilizing the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) model, an evidence based and innovative approach to support children and families who are impacted by behavioral difficulties and require family-based support (thinkkids.org).

Recently, I relocated my practice to return to my hometown of New York City and as a CPS certified provider and clinical expert, I focus my telehealth private practice exclusively on serving the unique needs of families and parents who seek help using the CPS model and integrating it into their homes in either state of Massachusetts or New York.
